The Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation, the third largest school corporation in Indiana, is recognized throughout the state and nation for developing and maintaining innovative, research-proven educational strategies to meet the needs of all students.

The schools of the EVSC are organized into five attendance districts. There are 17 elementary schools, seven middle schools, four K-8 schools, and seven high schools. The Southern Indiana Career & Technical Center prepares students for post-secondary education/training or entry into the workforce in different fields.
The EVSC Virtual Academy offers an opportunity for online high school, middle and elementary classes, credit advancement, and credit recovery.
