Patrick Moore

Patrick Moore joined the Eyewitness News team as the weekend sports anchor and sports reporter in July of 2015.

He grew up on the shores of Lake Erie in the town of Huron, Ohio. Patrick graduated from Ohio University’s E.W. Scripps School of Journalism in May of 2014. While in school, Patrick worked for the PBS affiliate WOUB Center for Public Media in Athens, Ohio. He wore many hats during his time at WOUB and was fortunate to work on multiple student Emmy Award productions.

Upon graduation, Patrick started his professional career in Chicago at 120 Sports, a start-up digital sports network partnered with the MLB, NHL and Times Inc. While at 120 Sports, Patrick worked behind the scenes in multiple production departments. While he enjoyed his time at 120 Sports, his true passion has always been working in front of the camera. With that passion, Patrick is excited to further his career in the Tri-State and cover stories from the high school football field to the Division I basketball court.

As a proud Ohioan and Bobcat, Patrick roots on his Ohio Bobcats and is a diehard Cleveland sports fan, and is “patiently” waiting for a Cleveland championship. Outside of sports, Patrick enjoys spending time with his family and friends, and watching anything that’s on HBO.
