Republican US Senate Candidate Mike Braun and Vanderburgh County Commissioner candidate Steve Hammer are holding a meet-and-greet in the Tri-State on Monday.
The event will take place from 4-7 p.m. at Roca Bar North.
The two candidates said they met December at the Congress of Counties event and Indianapolis and found they had a lot in common.
Braun is running against Congressmen Luke Messer and Todd Rokita for the Republican nomination to challenge incumbent US Senator Joe Donnelly, a Democrat.
Hammer is running against Michael J Duckworth Sr. and Vernon Stevens in the Republican primary for Vanderburgh County Commissioner, District 2.
