A long-time Evansville-based radio group has been sold.

South Central Communications, which owns stations such as WIKY, WABX, and WSTO, says it has reached an agreement to sell the family owned company to Midwest Communications.

Midwest Communications is based in Wausau, Wisconsin.

The sale also includes South Central's radio stations in Tennessee.

The deal still needs FCC approval before it becomes official.
