Owensboro Police Capture Escaped Daviess County Inmate

Owensboro Police have captured Kaleb Anderson two days after he escaped from the Daviess County Detention Center.

Police said Anderson was arrested by an officer around 11:00 AM Wednesday near Carter Road.

Anderson hopped a fence at the jail on Monday according to deputies.

The 18-year-old was booked into the jail in December where he's facing a number of burglary charges.

Detectives with the sheriff's department said they found Anderson on Jones Road in October running away from a home where stolen items were recovered.
