Tri-state kids who are mentally and physically challenged took a swing at baseball.

Challenger League Baseball is for kids ages four to nineteen who have a disability.

About 15 practiced their swing and tossed a ball around this morning at Central High School in Evansville.
Organizers say they expect the numbers to multiply.
Parents and kids say they're looking forward to the season.

Tony Zimmer says the league also serves as a support group for parents.
Organizers say once the season gets going, they'll practice even more and have games once a week.
The main goal, they say, is for the kids to have a good time.
