A vacant building on the outskirts of downtown Evansville will soon be no more.

The redevelopment commission voted to have the building at 502 Northwest 4th St. demolished.

The vacant building used to be a number of things including an auto garage, a nightclub, and a dollar store.

No timetable has been set for the demolition process, but we're told it should begin in the near future.
