Vectren says February bills are expected to go up thanks to a historically cold January.

The energy company says January temperatures were about 10 percent lower than normal and about 20 percent lower than last year.  And because customers used more energy, bills are expected to increase.

The average customer paid around $90 for gas service in January 2013.  That number jumps to around $120 in 2014.
