Comcast Expected to Merge with Time Warner Cable

According to several media outlets including the New York Times, Comcast will announce a deal to acquire Time Warner Cable in an all-stock deal worth more than $44 billion.

The deal will unite the two largest cable television operators in the country. The combination is certain to attract anti-trust scrutiny by regulators.

The deal is expected to be officially announced tomorrow.
