A committee has recommended to the Indiana University Board of Trustees to use Downtown Evansville for the proposed IU Medical School. This goes along with the President of the University's recommendation. Before the actual location can be decided, the Board of Trustees has to make a vote. That is scheduled to begin Friday at noon. Possible locations include the University of Southern Indiana campus, the East side off Burkhardt Rd. and one in Warrick County near the Deconess Gateway campus.
