The Vanderburgh County Coroner's Office has identified the person recovered from Pigeon Creek Monday morning. Chief Deputy Steve Lockyear says 28-year-old James Ray Morrision, Jr. was found near Lamasco Park by a passerby.

Detectives say Morrison's body was found in a shallow portion of the banks of Pigeon Creek. It's unclear how long Morrison had been there. Police do not suspect foul play.

An autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday morning.
