With even the slightest chance of snow, highway crews in Kentucky are getting a head start when it comes to pre-treating the roads.

Transportation officials in Western Kentucky have a lot of ground to cover. District Two, headquartered in Madisonville, is responsible for more than three thousand miles of highway in eleven counties.
