The 2014 Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure in Evansville will be held at a different location and on a different day.
Representatives announced Wednesday that the race will take place Sunday, September 28 at Eastland Mall, where the race was held in the past before it was moved downtown.
They said the Eastland Mall and the surrounding area provides more room for events, an easier route for the race and more parking.
They said they hope the move to Sunday will increase participation.
