Dollywood is consistently ranked as the top entertainment park in the world, matched with award-winning festivals, rides and craftsmen all showcased in its unmatched Great Smoky Mountains setting.

FireChaser Express is the park's new family coaster opening with Dollywood's new season March 22nd. It is the nation's first dual-launch forward and backward coaster that is ideal for the whole family, with a minimum height requirement of just 39 inches. FireChaser Express is the first capital investment in a 10-year plan that includes more than $300 million in future developments, including attractions and resorts, all to be at or adjacent to Parton's Dollywood theme park, located just miles from the entrance to Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

The family roller coaster will be followed by the 300-room DreamMore Resort, opening for Dollywood's 30th anniversary next year. The 100-acre resort will feature a design, says Dolly, "reminiscent of the iconic Southern gathering spot, the front porch." A full-service restaurant will be fashioned after an old farmhouse.
