Dubois County Officials Issue Drug Warning

The drug known as "gravel" has Dubois County Deputies on high alert. It is considered a highly addictive synthetic stimulant and is quickly becoming a drug of choice. Authorities say gravel is similar to bath salts and is often used in combination with other drugs. Recent seizures of gravel  in other parts of the country have found it to also contain meth as well as Klonopin. The drug is usually found in small rock form and can be smoked or injected. Some of the short term effects include increased blood pressure, elevated heart rate, violence and paranoia as well as hallucinations and brain damage.
