It's the first day of early voting in Illinois.

Officials aren't expecting a high turnout, considering the wintry weather most people in the state are dealing with.

The primary is coming up on March 18th. At the top of the ballot on the republican side is the race for US Senate, also Governor Pat Quinn is running for reelection.

There are also four republican candidates seeking the party's nomination for governor.
