The Easter Seals Rehabilitation Center hits a home run with its latest fundraiser. The center sold just 24 $100 tickets more than its goal of 2,400 tickets for its annual Homerun Sweeps.

The effort officially wrapped up today with a drawing for three winners. The prizes were $5,000, $10,000, and $100,000.

This fundraiser started 23 years ago and has raised $2.7 million for the center so far.

"We are  thrilled," said Pam Kirk. "The funding is much needed so that no one has to wait for therapy. It's just a wonderful day for us and for all the kids and adults with disabilities who will benefit from this."

Betty Mattingly of Morganfield, Kentucky won the big $100,000 prize. Daniel Linthicum of Newburgh won $10,000, and Howard Heerdt also of Newburgh is now $5,000 richer.
