Equipment Stolen from Traffic Signals in Hopkins Co.

- Kentucky State Police are also investigating stolen traffic signal equipment in Hopkins County.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet recently placed two temporary traffic signals along KY 281 just south of Jewel City.

Officials say the locks on the panels were cut, and the communication equipment from both signals were stolen.

The signals were being used to control traffic due a roadway collapse.
