Evansville Christian School seems to be a little more serious about building a high school.

The church's website says they are working with Crossroads Christian Church and Epworth United Methodist Church to develop a joint proposal to launch a high school at the northwest corner of Lincoln Ave. and Epworth Rd.

School officials say they have received all required approvals from both churches to acquire the land including the donation of about three acres of land from Crossroads. They hope to start fundraising this Summer.

School officials say they will design the facility to be a 7th through 12th grade campus.
