Evansville Police arrest a woman for driving under the influence of drugs, after they say she was slumped over in her car full of children.

Police say Tara Bustos-Gaytan had stopped at the Thornton's on St. Joseph Ave. and sat at one of the pumps for more than hour. Officers found her car on the side of the road a couple blocks away.

When EPD approached the vehicle, they say she was slumped in her seat, and her three children were inside. Authorities say she was under the influence of meth and had put her pipe and several baggies of the drug under one of the children.

Bustos-Gaytan was arrested on several charges including neglect. The children were released to their father.
