The son of a man who died on Indiana's death row is arrested for carrying a weapon as a felon.

It happened early this morning, as Evansville Police were investigating a stolen scooter report.

27 year-old Seth Wrinkles is being held without bond in the Vanderburgh County Jail.
Officers stopped him on a moped at Oakley and Virginia around 3 a.m.

They say he had a small handgun in his front pocket.

The weapon was not reported as being stolen, but officers say Wrinkles doesn't have a permit and isn't supposed to have a gun since he's a felon.

Seth Wrinkles is the son of Matthew Eric Wrinkles, who was executed in 2009 for murdering three people in Vanderburgh County in 1994.
