A section of the Green River is back open in Spotsville after a towing vessel collided with a railroad bridge.
According to the the US Coast Guard, the "Betty Fagin" was towing four fully loaded coal barges when it hit the bridge.
Those four barges broke away and two were damaged.
Crews had to shut down the river near the 8 mile marker to remove the barges from the river.
They were taken to the crown stock of the river so crews can unload the coal to fix the barges.
The investigation into why the "Betty Fagin" ran into the bridge is still under investigation.
