A group from Evansville plans to join the thousands protesting in Ferguson, Mo.

Courtney Johnson, founder and CEO of Young and Established, is organizing the trip. The organization recently brought back the Dust Bowl basketball tournament after violence shut it down in 2010.

Johnson said he’s going to Ferguson to support Michael Brown’s family and to join those calling for justice. However, he said he does not condone violence against law enforcement.

The group plans to leave tomorrow morning. Johnson said he is not sure how many days they will stay.
