Hewlett-Packard is trimming its workforce again.

The company announced 11,000 to 16,000 HP employees will soon be laid off. This follows a previous statement from the company that said it was letting 34,000 workers go.

Word of the cuts came as the company's second-quarter financial results were released. HP shares dropped two-percent in late day trading.
