The man hired just last week as the Gibson Southern boys basketball coach has resigned.
South Gibson Superintendent Stacy Humbaugh says Beau Hobson turned in his resignation Wednesday morning. This comes one day after Eyewitness News reported that Hobson had resigned from his current job at Castle High School. The Warrick County Schools Superintendent says his office looked into a complaint against Hobson of alleged inappropriate conduct with a minor. The school would not say what the conduct may have been, but it says there is no criminal investigation.
Hobson had planned to remain at Castle until the end of the academic year, but the superintendent says Hobson turned in his resignation at Castle when confronted with the allegations.
