HPD: Student Brought Pellet Gun on School Property After Hours

-

A Henderson County high school student is facing charges after police say he brought a pellet gun on school property Thursday.

According to the Henderson Police Department, the student was at South Heights Elementary when he showed the gun to a group of students, but police say he did not point it at anyone.

The department was notified about the incident after receiving calls from parents of witnesses.

HPD says the teen is facing two counts of disorderly conduct.

Officials from Henderson County Schools wouldn’t comment.
