The Illinois Oil and Gas Associations 68th Annual Convention and Trade Show is in full swing. The two day event kicked off today.
Nearly 100 booths are set up at the Old National Events Plaza, formerly The Centre.
People like Gareld Biliew have attended the convention for more than a decade. He says it's the best way to get yourself and your product out there.
"You got to let people know what you have to offer them," said Biliew. "Not only in the products but also in the services you provide, different things. This IOGA Convention is the greatest thing for Illinois, for us vendors to be able to display that."
The convention was originally held in Mt. Vernon, Illinois, but was moved to Evansville in 1981. Officials say this event contributes hundreds of thousands of dollars to the River City's economy.
