In-Depth: Janie Chappell Discusses the Rise of Suicides with Brad Byrd

The world continues to mourn the apparent suicide of actor Robin Williams. Tonight, we're talking about suicide, which is on the rise in the country.

Brad Byrd sits down with Janie Chappell of Deaconess Cross Pointe to talk about why people feel suicidal and how to prevent it. Chappell is also a teacher/facilitator for the Southwest Indiana Suicide Prevention Coalition.

The Lifesaver's Walk will be held Saturday, August 23 at the State Hospital. Registration is at 8 a.m. and the race is at 9:15 a.m. Entry fees are Adults $25 and children and seniors $10. For more information, contact Janie Chappell at (812) 471-4521.
