Indiana Common Core Legislation goes to Governor's Desk

Indiana schools could soon stop following the federal common core standards. It's now up to Governor Pence to decide if it will become law.

Lawmakers voted to have the State Board of Education define what students in each grade level should be learning. The bill requires the board to come up with those standards by July 1.
