Indiana Corn to Take Center Stage at Downtown Evansville Farmers Market

The Downtown Evansville Farmers Market sponsored by Vanderburgh County Farm Bureau, opens Friday, May 16.
The Market located in downtown Evansville at Sycamore and Second will be open each Friday through Sept 26 from 8:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.

There will be an opening ceremony at 10:30 AM under the Big Tent with Mayor Lloyd Winnecke and others.
Author Jane Schroeder be signing copies of her book, Market Table Memories, celebrating 75 years of Farmers Market in Evansville.

The Market features live entertainment with the "Together Again Band " and on site food Vendors offering breakfast and lunch . The Market includes local producers, within a 75 mile radius of Evansville, with items changing each week as the crops come in; meats including beef, pork, chicken, lamb, eggs; fresh baked goods, fresh flowers, plants, herbs, honey, homemade sanitizers, insect repellent, body lotions, sugar scrubs, diaper rash treatment and pet shampoo; granola, jams , jellies, preserves, candies, trail mix, hand woven rugs, handmade handbags, pillow cases, and sunbonnets, cookies, fudge, pet treats, kettle corn, goat milk soap, barbecue sauce, wine, handmade garden accessories, cooking oils, gluten free breads,
