Indiana Couples File Lawsuit Challenging Same-Sex Marriage Ban

Four Indiana couples have filed a lawsuit similar to the one in Kentucky challenging the state's same-sex marriage ban.

They want the Hoosier state to recognize gay marriages performed in other states. A judge recently ruled that Kentucky must now make that recognition and the state plans to appeal it. 

Indiana's Attorney General Greg Zoeller says his office will be ready to defend the state against the couples' legal challenge.
