Health officials confirm the individual who was being treated for Middle East Respiratory Syndrome was released from a community hospital in Munster, IN Saturday.

The patient is considered to be fully receovered and has been cleared by health officials to come off off isolation, and may even travel, if necessary.

Doctors say the patient tested negative for MERS, is no longer symptomatic and poses no threat to the community.
No additional cases of MERS have been identified.
