Investigators are still trying to determine the cause of a house fire in Evansville.

At about 7:30 a.m. on March 24, firefighters were called to the intersection of Main and Missouri.

We're told it took the first crew just two minutes to arrive, as they are located nearby. Heavy smoke and flames were taking over the home when they showed up.

No one was home and no one was hurt. But, one cat didn't make it.

Three cats and two dogs were rescued.
