A major boost for students attending the Indiana University Medical School in Evansville.

The school announced $230,000 in scholarships have been awarded to more than half of it's students.

Those students will receive more financial aid through scholarships than those awarded at any of the other seven campuses across the state.

The average graduate with a medical degree will rack up nearly $140,000 in debt over four years.
