The Biology program at Indiana University receives a major donation from the estate of a member of the faculty that passed away in 2012.

Carlos O. Miller left more than four million dollars to the University's Department of Biology, the largest its ever received.
Miller officially retired in 1987 but still conducted research there, some of which is recognized all over the world.

IU officials say his gifts reflect Miller's love for science and for the next generation of scientists.
