It will cost IU students more money to live on campus next year.

The school's board of trustees voted to increase rates by more than 300 dollars. Meal plans will also go up about fifty dollars.

More than twelve thousand students live in residence halls at IU in Bloomington. The rate increases will be different depending on which facility a student lives in or which meal plan they choose.

IU campuses in South Bend and at IUPUI will also see an increase in room and board fees.
