Evansville, IND.- Jeton Hall is sentenced for his role in the 2012 home invasion robbery of Tristate business man, Ira Beumer.

Hall was sentenced to 40 years in prison.

Hall pleaded guilty back in December 2013 on charges of burglary resulting in bodily injury, criminal confinement, and theft.  A criminal gang enhancement was dropped against as part of a deal.

Hall becomes the third of four defendants in the Beumer case to be sentenced.

Police say in February of 2012, Hall and three other men broke into Ira Beumer's house and robbed him at gunpoint.

After the robbery, police say Beumer chased the suspects in his car.  During that chase, authorities say the suspects crashed on Big Cynthiana Road, killing one of the suspected robbers.

Beumer was indicted by a grand jury for murder after chasing the suspects car. His trial is scheduled March 17.
