Kentucky House Rejects Changes to Felon Voting Rights Bill

- The Kentucky House rejects changes to a bill that would restore voting rights to many felons.

The Senate approved an amended version requiring a five year waiting period to restore voting rights to most non-violent ex-convicts.

But the House turned down the changes saying the Senate approved a totally different bill.

If the Senate chooses not to drop the changes, the bill will go to a conference committee, so lawmakers can seek a compromise.
