911 Calls Released from Attempted Murder, Crash

911 calls have been released in connection with an attempted murder investigation in Evansville.

On Sunday, gunshots were followed by a loud crash when police said a driver crashed into a home's porch.

The driver Charles Baltzell, 24, has been identified as the victim of an attempted murder according to police.

Shots were fired before the crash and authorities said blood was found on the driver's seat.

This happened on the corner of Ravenswood and Grand.

A neighbor said she saw the man being pulled out of the car and put onto a stretcher.

According to EPD, the gunshot injuries are life-threatening and Baltzell is receiving treatment at a local hospital.

Police ask you to contact them if you have any information regarding the incident.
