Accused Strip Club Shooter Now in Vanderburgh Co. Jail

The man charged in the deadly shooting at an Evansville strip club in April is now in the Vanderburgh County Detention Center.

34-year-old Clarence Miller of Evansville is charged with murder and attempted murder in the death of 21-year-old Aaron Jennings.

Evansville Police say Miller was kicked out of The Pony on Tecumseh Lane back in April after he propositioned a dancer for sex. After leaving, Miller reportedly found a place where he was conceal and began firing gunshots.

Jennings died from a gunshot to the chest. A second victim, Gerald Bankston, was shot in the back but is recovering from his injuries.

U.S. Marshals arrested Miller in Chicago a few days after the shooting after he allegedly rammed a police cruiser.
