Are Eclipse Glasses Safe to Reuse in 2024?

Many people are wondering whether they'll be able to reuse their eclipse glasses for the next total solar eclipse in the Tri-State in 2024.

Evansville will be in the path of totality on April 8, 2024.

The totality will last well over three minutes.

However, those solar glasses Tri-Staters used for the eclipse on Monday may not be safe to reuse.

Many of the devices specify that they shouldn't be used after three years.

While it may be tempting to save them, it's probably safest to find a new pair.
