An incident involving foul play leaves one man dead.
The Henderson County Sheriff's Office says a body was found on Ellis Park property near the levee and bridge Saturday morning by witnesses as they were driving through.
We’re told the victim is a black male from Evansville. His name has not been released.
Because the victim is from Evansville, Henderson County Sheriff's Office will be working with the Evansville Police Department.
Henderson County Sheriff Ed Brady tells us they are unsure if this is connected to Friday night's homicide.
" Right now, because of the temperature, it’s approximately 37 degrees out here when we all showed up this morning,” says Henderson Co. coroner Bruce Farmer, “We don't have an idea yet on time or anything like that. He was found by some passersby that were coming from Trocadero headed to Indiana, that's all we know at this moment. "
An autopsy is scheduled for Sunday in Madisonville.
