'Beat the Deadline' Offers Chance to Win Extra Easterseals Raffle Ticket

The Easterseals Rehabilitation Center has announced a 'Beat the Deadline' incentive to encourage ticket sales for its 'Home Run Sweeps' All Cash Raffle, which will award prizes of $50,000, $25,000 and $10,000.

For each $100 ticket purchased before the 'Beat the Deadline' cut-off of 5 p.m. Tuesday, the buyer will be entered for a chance to win an extra ticket in the raffle drawing, scheduled for March 14.

'Home Run Sweeps' proceeds are an essential part of Easterseals' fundraising efforts to underwrite physical, occupational and speech therapy services for tri-staters with disabilities who couldn't otherwise afford them.

A maximum of 3,000 tickets will be sold.

Almost 600 of those have been purchased since sales began on January 3.

Easterseals hopes the 'Beat the Deadline' incentive will spur potential procrastinators to buy tickets now, instead of waiting until closer to the drawing and possibly forgetting to enter.

Individuals may buy tickets on their own, or with groups of friends, family members, co-workers, or others.

Entrants must be at least 18.

To purchase tickets: Call (812) 437-2607 or (812) 474-2348 to pay from a checking or savings account. No credit or debit cards are accepted by phone.

Tickets may also be purchased at the Easterseals Rehabilitation Center, 3701 Bellemeade, in Evansville, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., using cash, check, money order, or debit card. No credit cards are accepted

Tickets may also be purchases at Easterseals Milestones, 621 S. Cullen Avenue, in Evansville, or Easterseals Posey County, 5525 Industrial Road, Mt. Vernon, Indiana, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., using cash, check or money order. No credit or debit cards will be accepted at these locations.

The 'Beat the Deadline' incentive ends at Tuesday at 5 p.m., but 'Home Run' ticket sales will continue until noon on the day of the raffle drawing.

The winner of the extra 'Beat the Deadline' ticket will also be drawn right before that drawing, which is open to the public.

Ticket holders do not have to be present to win.
