Boonville requests amendment to 2018-21 EMPO transportation plan

Public review and comment is being sought by the Evansville Metropolitan Planning Organization (EMPO) concerning a proposed amendment to the 2018-2021 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP), which covers the Tri-State area.

The City of Boonville has requested the following amendment:

Des# 1600739 - Third Street: Road rehabilitation from Sycamore Street to past Olive Street. Add project for Preliminary Engineering (PE) in FY 2018. PE costs of $696,000 will be funded with 80% federal Surface Transportation Block Grant Program (STP-R) funds and a 20% local match. Project cost to complete estimates for Right of Way (RW) ($548,000) and Construction (CN) ($3,100,000) are also being incorporated with the amendment.

The proposed amendment will be discussed at the EMPO Policy Committee Meeting on Thursday, November 2.

The meeting is being held in Room 301 of the Evansville Civic Center Complex at 4 p.m.
