The Evansville Police Merit Commission has scheduled hearing dates with four police officers accused of misconduct for February 21, and February 23.
Officers Nick Henderson, Mark DeCamps, and Marcus Craig were suspended for 21 days without pay in November in connection with the burglary arrest of Mark Healy in late October.
Police body camera video showed Officer Henderson shoving Healy's face into the pavement after being poked in the hand by a needle while searching healy's pocket.
Chief Billy Bolin accused the officers of a number of department violations including excessive force. Chief Bolin has recommended the three officers be fired and that their supervisor, Sgt. Kyle Kassel, be demoted.
But last week, Vanderburgh County Prosecutor Nick Hermann announced he would not file criminal charges against any of the officers.
Brad Byrd sits down with Nick Hermann to break down the police body camera video and discuss why he decided not to file charges against any of the officers.
