Candlelight Vigil Honors Roman Kellough

A large group gathered to remember their friend. The Cathedral Church on First Ave. hosted a candlelight vigil on Thursday night.

Dozens of classmates and friends found their way to reflect on 15-year-old Roman Kellough's life.

Evansville Police say Kellough fatally shot himself several hours before his body was discovered early Tuesday morning.

According to police, Kellough had three guns and scores of ammunition in his backpack found at the scene. Detectives are looking into how he got the guns.

Kellough had withdrawn from Central High School near the end of the Fall semester.

Many of Kellough's family and friends believe his withdrawal and eventual suicide all traces back to what they describe as "crippling bullying."
