Crews Battle Friday Morning House Fire in Henderson Co.

Fire crews in Henderson County battled a manufactured home fire overnight.

It happened just after 3 Friday morning on Posey Chapel Road.

The home suffered substantial damage.

Fire was seen erupting from the front and top of the home.

Four family members and the family's pets were able to get out safely.

Several crews were called in to assist, and firefighters report they were able to get the flames under control.

Firefighters were hampered in their efforts in attempting to determine fog in the area from smoke from the fire.

Also, tankers had to be brought in in order to fill up fire truck's pumpers, as the home was at the end of a long driveway and no fireplugs were available.

An investigator has been called in.

Firefighters say they suspect the fire to have started from an electrical problem, but no official determination has been made.

Eyewitness News will bring you updated information as it becomes available.
