Daviess Co. Man Faces Charges after ATV Crash

One person is sent to the hospital after an accident involving an ATV in Daviess County, Kentucky.

The Ohio County Sheriff's Office says there were called afer an ATV was hit by an SUV just before 4 p.m. on Thursday. It happened along Pleasant Ridge Rd. in Daviess County near the Ohio County line

The sheriff said Cole Simpson of Utica was following a school bus when he turned in front of a Jeep Cherokee. Simpson was thrown from the ATV and was airlifted to Evansville.

The driver of the jeep has a possible leg injury. The extent of Simpson's injuries are not known, but the sheriff's office said they will pursue charges against him.
