Daviess County Students Win State Challenge with Dolphin Logger

A group of Daviess County High School students competed over the weekend in a statewide challenge to further their education and business.

The students created Dolphin Logger, a tracking system notifying students when their bus to take them home arrives at school.

The system is in place at Daviess County High School.

The students have spent several months preparing to compete against the other teams.

They wanted to not only win the grand prize but also leave a legacy at their school.

Monday afternoon, Eyewitness News learned the Dolphin Logger team took first place in the state.

They won $40,000 in scholarships and got to meet Kentucky Governor Matt Bevin.
