Armed men rob Fordsville bank, suspects on the loose

According to the Ohio County Sheriff's Office, Commonwealth Community Bank in downtown Fordsville was robbed Thursday morning.

Kentucky State Police say the bank on Main Street was robbed by two men around 10:00 AM.

The men were driving a black Chevrolet pickup truck.

Investigators said a man in his 20's entered the bank with a pistol and demanded money from the bank teller.

The teller gave the man the money and authorities said the man fled the scene in a black Chevrolet pick-up truck with another man – headed east on KY 54.

One of the men was caught on surveillance video wearing a red shirt, jeans, dark jacket, with a shaved head.

Kentucky State Police are investigating a murder in Caneyville as well. While they're currently investigating to see if the two are connected, they're currently not willing to say they two crimes were carried out by the same suspects.
